Moulding is priced per lineal foot and varies depending on the wood species used and size of the moulding. All moulding includes an $80 set up fee which is the cost associated with setting up our moulder.
- 07
A set-up fee is a flat $80 fee we charge to run each different moulding/profile. Since everything we do is highly customized it requires us to set up our moulder for each profile, hence the set-up cost. This fee is a one-time charge per profile and is not included in the cost of the finished product. We believe in full transparency with our clients, which is why we disclose this fee upfront so that there are no surprises down the line. If you have any questions about our set-up fee or any other aspect of our woodworking services, please don't hesitate to contact us. We're always happy to help

No, you do not. When Rock Hill Woodworking makes a custom profile, we make a Forever Knife. We store the knife and tooling in our system forever. This means that if you ever need more of your custom moulding, we won't have to start from scratch or recharge a custom knife fee. Simply let us know what you need, and we'll use the Forever Knife to create an accurate and consistent reproduction of your original moulding profile. This ensures that your re-order will be just as high-quality and precise as the original order.
- 09
The cost for custom tooling starts at $120 and is based on the profile complexity and size. This is a one-time cost, you only pay to make the knife and not each time you order more moulding. This means that once you pay for the custom profile, you can continue to order moulding using that profile without having to pay the custom tooling cost again. Please contact us for a quote or to discuss your specific needs.
