ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Production Designer is responsible for creating precise shop drawings and tickets that guide the production of custom mouldings, doors, and millwork. This role requires a highly detailed and organized individual with CAD proficiency (AutoCAD and/or TurboCAD) and strong math skills. The Production Designer ensures that designs are translated accurately into buildable, high-quality products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Generate detailed shop drawings and shop tickets in CAD for production.

Draft and detail custom mouldings, doors, and miscellaneous millwork.

Assist with drawing take-offs for various millwork projects.

Research and source hardware, materials, and specialty products as needed.

Maintain and update the catalog of custom moulding profiles.

Scan and create CAD drawings for custom profiles provided by clients or field measurements.

Collaborate with the estimating and operations teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Support project coordination by clarifying design details or resolving drawing discrepancies.
